Systems Analysis Using Simulation

This paper offers an expanded classification of methodologies used in systems analysis. Of these methods, one in particular — simulation — is presented in some detail. Issues associated with building and running the model, as well as analyzing the results, are examined within the context of supply chain management. It is claimed that the ability to conduct simulation studies, along with the ease of misinterpreting their results, has greatly increased over time
