The Effect of Digital Transformation on Organisational Performance of Local Non-Governmental Companies in Zimbabwe : A Case of OPHID

Increased costs and losses has become a cause of concern in Zimbabwean local non-governmental organizations. According to Zvorufura (2021) local non-governmental organizations have been recording losses due to failure of adopting digital transformation. Zvorufura (2021) noted that OPHID for the year ended 31 December 2019, misused funds of ZW$44 million loss which has been a result of failure to adopt digital transformation. Poor performance of local non-governmental organizations affect managers who sets objectives and if these issues are not addressed, will result in huge losses. If local non-governmental companies neglect the issue of digital transformation these organizations shall suffer from losses. These organization has adopted training but despite their efforts they are still making losses. This study therefore intends to close a gap of study. Researches, which has been conducted before on the effect of digital transformation, has yielded inconclusive and contradictory results. Therefore this study intends to determine the effect of digital transformation on organizational performance of local non-governmental companies in Zimbabwe
