The New Benchmark:A Model Advice Qualification Post-RDR at QCF Level 4

The CII welcomes the Retail Distribution Review and believes that the proposed increase in standards will produce important benefits for the sector and consumers, in particular increased professionalism and a reduced risk of consumer detriment.The CII also welcomes the FSA’s desire to create a minimum competence threshold, set at Level 4 Diploma in the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) (or equivalent) for all advisers.
