The OECD international education indicators : a framework for analysis

Die Entwicklung und Bedeutung von "Bildungsindikatoren" wird in sieben Kapiteln aufgezeigt und diskutiert. Unter Bildungsindikatoren werden dabei solche Beurteilungsparameter verstanden, die zur analytischen Erfassung und Beschreibung von Bildungssystemen als bildungspolitische Planungshilfe dienen sollen. Hier wird der Vorschlag unterbreitet, die Bildungsindikatoren in vier Hauptgruppen zu unterteilen: 1. Input-Indikatoren, 2. Output-Indikatoren, 3. Prozeßindikatoren und 4. Indikatoren der finanziellen und humanen Ressourcen. Der Wert der Entwicklung und Definition von Bildungsindikatoren für den internationalen Vergleich wird hervorgehoben.
