The Prospects of Innovation in University in the Endorsement of the Partnership between both Public and Private Sectors in Algeria

Partnership between both public and private sectors has become an important strategy that governments establish and endorse for funding costly projects in particular. In essence, the collaborations between government and private enterprise purpose to attract investors and funding sources to execute the targeted projects. In this sense, to diversify the sources of financing, important plans were established to make university an effective part that contributes to the economic growth in Algeria. This paper questions the role of university in the reinforcement of collaborations between public and private sectors. Based on the descriptive method, this paper demonstrates the positive contribution of innovative projects promoted by higher education and scientific research in Algeria and their prospects as well. The present paper ended into the conclusion that innovation is a fundamental element in the involvement of university in the creation of wealth. It denotes that innovation endorses the partnership between both sectors by providing high quality innovative solutions with less expenditures in different areas such as food security, clean energy projects, industry and infrastructure
