View looking North on North Cook St. and Railroad Ave. R.R. Ave was a short street that was parallel to the R.R. tracks from E. Main St. then going northwest down to Hager's lumber yard office then on to North Hough St. The building on the right in this photo is 203 North Cook. The sign above the front windows reads-"Leonard Automobile". The white sign further North reads "Ford Service Station". Later that became Butch Schauble's Chevrolet and Pontiac sales and service. 203 later (930) became Drover Motor Sales and Service of Chrysler, Plymouth and Diamond T Trucks. It housed Reber Auto Repair Service, Barrington Auto Body and Bill Panker's 'Corner Cupboard' when it was destroyed by fire in 1967. Photo Circa 1920
