Trust as a Design Aspect of Context Aware Systems

The purpose of this article is to show the importance of trust as a design aspect of context aware systems. We use anexample of a context aware application, identify user’s uncertainties and follow Muir’s [1] logic of a trust network toshow the relevant trust relations. Based on these results we provide recommendations how these relations can be supportedleading to higher trust in the whole application and thus to a higher acceptance of the application.[...]
