University-business cooperation on innovative teaching and learning practices

This University-Business Cooperation reflection paper aims to inspire collaborations between HEIs (Higher Education Institutions) and businesses, and between HEI educators and business practitioners with the aim of developing new teaching and learning practices. It will demonstrate that such practices can themselves enhance the collaboration between HEIs and businesses, thus forming closer links between skills production and skills utilisation. This reflection paper details how innovative methods of teaching and learning can contribute to the solution of complex problems in the private markets and society. Hence, the paper posits that the development and co-creation of innovative teaching and learning in HEIs should be a priority for university-business cooperation.
