What is good work? Different aspects of labor contracts in theory and experiment

"Good work" is interpreted from an employer's and a worker's viewpoint. An economic experiment on the existence of intrinsic work motivation in a labor market setting is conducted. A theoretical model analyzes worker selection under exogenous unobservable intrinsic motivation and endogenous observable qualification. The impact of wage flexibility on contract terms and their duration is subject of a second theoretical model. An experiment yields further insights to this topic.
