Feature space reduction method for ultrahigh-dimensional, multiclass data: Random forest-based multiround screening (RFMS)
Hanczár, Gergely; Stippinger, Marcell; Hanák, Dávid; … - 2023
In recent years, several screening methods have been published for ultrahigh-dimensional data that contain hundreds of thousands of features, many of which are irrelevant or redundant. However, most of these methods cannot handle data with thousands of classes. Prediction models built to...

BiometricBlender : Ultra-high dimensional, multi-class synthetic data generator to imitate biometric feature space
Stippinger, Marcell; Hanák, Dávid; Kurbucz, Marcell Tamás - 2023
The lack of freely available (real-life or synthetic) high or ultra-high dimensional, multi-class datasets may hamper the rapidly growing research on feature screening, especially in the field of biometrics, where the usage of such datasets is common. This paper reports a Python package called...

Hierarchically organized minority games
Földy, Csaba; Somogyvári, Zoltán; Érdi, Péter - In: Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications 323 (2003) C, pp. 735-742
In this paper a hierarchical extension of the Minority Game is defined and studied. Numerical simulations show a special type of emergent global behavior between separated parts of the hierarchical structure, connected only through a normalized mean field quantity.
