Uncertainty causes rounding: an experimental study
Ruud, Paul; Schunk, Daniel; Winter, Joachim - In: Experimental Economics 17 (2014) 3, pp. 391-413
Rounding is a common phenomenon when subjects provide an answer to an open-ended question, both in experimental tasks and in survey responses. From a statistical perspective, rounding implies that the measured variable is a coarsened version of the underlying continuous target variable. Since...

Strategy Similarity and Coordination.
Vahid, F.; Sarin, R. - Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics, … - 2001
This paper introduces similarity among strategies in the payoff assessment model of choice (Sarin and Vahid (1999, GEB)). The assessments of strategies that are more similar to the chosen strategy are updated more similarly to the chosen strategy. We use this model to explain a recent experiment.

Sequential Auctions with Multi-Unit Demand: Theory, Experiments and Simulations
Montmarquette, Claude; Robert, Jacques - Centre Interuniversitaire de Recherche en Analyse des … - 1999
This paper presents the theory of sequential auctions when participants desire more than one unit. The theoretical predictions are compared to experimental data. We estimate structural models which presume that participants' bids are drawn from some stochastic processes. The observed behavior...
