A one-dimensional thermoelastic problem with unilateral constraint

In this paper, we study a one-dimensional quasi-static thermoelastic problem with unilateral contact with an elastic obstacle and heat flux through the boundary of contact. A finite element approximation is proposed and analyzed and some numerical experiments are performed.
