The Faculty of Economics at Padjadjaran University was established in 1957. In 2011 it became the Faculty of Economics and Business in order to additionally establish the faculty as an institution in the field of management science and business at the national and international level.

The Faculty has three departments – Accounting, Economics, and Management – and one diploma program. Each department consists of study programs from undergraduate to doctorate level.
 

Missions of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Padjadjaran comprise:

• Generating competent graduates in accordance with the demands of world-level users.
• Organizing the world-class excellent education that is able to access the world's demands.
• Organizing the professionalism and accountability in the management (of governance) in order to improve its image and trust of stakeholders.
• Improving the competence and commitment of educators to take an active role in the development of science and technology in Asia Pacific.
