10th session of the European School on New Institutional Economics ESNIE 2011
Using rigorous scientific methods, New Institutional Economics (NIE) focuses on the theoretical and empirical analysis of the economics of co-ordination devices - institutions, organizations and contracts-, as well as on the conditions under which these devices evolve. Objectives: - To promote the use of rigorous methods to analyze the economics of institutions and organizations. - To provide researchers with up to date synthesis on the evolutions of the research program. - To develop networking and cooperation among researchers and among their institutions.
