16th International Conference of IT&FA: 'Globalization and its Controversies'
It is anticipated that many of the participants will focus on economic and financial dimensions of the complex globalization process -- considering among other things flows of goods, money, people, information and technology. Papers may assess the impact of globalization on various regions of the world, on nations, communities, and individuals, as well as the relationship of globalization to firms, industries, and management. Some participants may wish to focus on governance and legal issues, including the institutions and rules that structure the globalization process and help resolve disputes. These may include the WTO, the IMF, and World Bank, or regional institutions. Other participants may wish to discuss the theme in the context of inequality, mobility, poverty, or similar topics. The educational and cultural dimensions of globalization also may attract some scholars to Lodz.
