30th ERSA Summer School 2017 - European Regional Science Association
Central Theme "GIS and Regional Science: Theory and Applications" The summer school will first introduce the basic ingredients which underpin much of the analyses within a GIS framework including mapping, buffer, overlay and network analysis. It will then introduce a wide range of GIS application areas in Regional Science, including geodemographics and deprivation analysis, regional inequality, the geographical study of income inequality and well-being, urban segregation, crime analysis and prevention, retail analysis, health care analysis, emergency planning, education planning, transport planning and environmental justice analysis.
