93rd EAAE seminar: Impacts of Decoupling and Cross Compliance on Agriculture in the Enlarged EU
The purpose of the seminar is to discuss ideas and present research findings on the impacts of the key instruments, introduced by the CAP 2003 reform, on agriculture and agri-food sectors in the EU-15 and the new EU Member States. The seminar will address: a) theoretical issues of decoupling; b) empirical studies about the implications of decoupled payments, introduced by 2003 reform, for European farming and land management; and c) adjustments of the new EU Member States to the decoupled payments and cross compliance.
