Annual Workshop of the NBER Group on Micro and Macro Perspectives on the Aggregate Labor Market

Theme and Topics: Recent work on labor markets has stressed the importance of trading frictions in accounting for the outcomes that we observe in these markets. The focus of this conference, hosted by CAP, is to further our understanding of how frictions in both labor markets and related markets including the marriage market and the money market influence the operation of labor markets, including the cyclical behavior of unemployment and wages. The NBER Group on Micro and Macro Perspectives on the Aggregate Labor Market is part of the NBER Economic Fluctuations and Growth Program.
