The workshop will examine issues of political governance from various angles and from different disciplinary perspectives. Thus e.g. how can laws be changed in the best way to discourage bribes? Do higher wages lead to less corruption among the police or does status make more of a difference? What is the link between corruption and natural resources? What are the best solutions for fragile states to deliver public policy in a cost effective way? And what are the dynamic incentives facing policymakers?
