CESifo Area Conference on Global Economy and the Leibniz Meeting on the Rise of China, India, and Developing Asia
The conference is intended to allow presentation of current research undertaken by members of the Network’s Global Economy area and to stimulate interaction and co-operation between area members. This year the meeting will dovetail with a new CESifo programme supported by the Leibniz Foundation and devote one of the two days to a specific theme within the general area of international aspects of the new Europe. This meeting will focus on the rise of China, India and developing Asia, examining their growth performance, their integration into the global economy, adjustment consequences in the OEDC and elsewhere, and implications for global institutions.
