Deutsche Bundesbank – SAFE – ZEW – CEPR Conference "Regulating Financial Markets"
The organizing committee invites submissions of high-quality theoretical or empirical research papers on regulation of financial markets. The conference calls for papers especially covering topics on the link between financial intermediation and regulation, including (but not limited to) - the evaluation of macroprudential tools and unconventional monetary policy on financial institutions, - the effects of financial market regulation on the real economy, - the impact of regulation on competition among banks and other financial institutions, - the market entrance and exit of financial institutions, - the coordination of supervision and regulation, - the impact of capital regulation on bank behavior, - the interaction of liquidity and solvency risk, - the interaction of banking and trading (e.g. bank business models, compensation).
