DIME-Workshop : Environmental Innovation in Infrastructure Sectors
Environmental innovation processes have been studied in a number of sectoral and technological contexts. Particularly relevant sectors with respect to their size and environmental impact are infrastructure sectors such as energy, transport and water. The specificities of these sectors are studied widely e. g. with respect to market concentration and antitrust regulation but less so with respect to specificities of (environmental) innovation processes in these sectors. By organizing this workshop we address this gap and bring together leading scholars from innovation research, in particular environmental innovation research, and infrastructure research.
