Eighth Summer School FINANCE, INSTITUTIONS AND HISTORY "War and Finance"
The 2008 Summer School is a week-long intensive seminar designed to bring together a pool of international lecturers and graduate students to discuss key issues in financial history. This year the focus will be on the relations between war and finance. Lecturers will present case studies from a wide range of historical pespectives and geographical backgrounds, documenting and discussing the role of war in shaping financial systems. Scholars interested in attending are welcome. Pre-session materials and reading suggestions will be made available to participants in the program.
