First Workshop on “Migration and Economic Development: Insights from original data collection and fieldworks”
The goal of the workshop is to provide a forum for high quality research on the linkages between migration and economic development in migrant-sending regions. We will bring together leading scholars working on the topic from universities, research institutions, and international organisations across Europe and the U.S. A major focus of the workshop will be on research methodologies and latest findings on how to conduct field work and data collection in developing countries in order to effectively examine the impact of migration on both migrants and households left behind.
