FSO - Financial stability: an overview
The seminar will focus on a wide range of financial stability issues. The topics covered in the event will fit within the following broad themes: • definition of financial stability, and the role of the Bank of England in the UK framework; • identification and assessment of key risks to financial stability; • systemic risk mitigation, including new arrangements to strengthen the resilience of financial systems such as a more macroprudential orientation for regulatory and supervisory frameworks; and • financial crisis management and resolution. The supervision of financial institutions or markets is not covered in this seminar.
