I.S.E.O. Summer School 2009 "Financial markets in the world economy"
The I.S.E.O. Summer School introduces to some of the principles of international economy, investigating the role of America and Europe in the international economic scenario. It focuses on growth, on the strategies and instruments of monetary policy, on the structure and mechanisms of the financial sector, with a particular focus on the welfare state and unemployment. The course has a comparative perspective, therefore every subject compares the US and European economies. Every lesson includes a one hour theoretical lecture and a two hour debate on the discussed topics.
