Regional Social Security Forum for Europe
This Forum will provide a key platform for information and exchange on the most important regional social security trends and priority issues. The Forum will start by presenting the most recent developments and trends in Europe. It will then elaborate on three topics that are of major interest to the region, namely, demographic challenges, labour markets and governance. It will be concluded by a Summit that will gather high-level policymakers and representatives from international and regional organizations. The Forum will offer an opportunity to debate ways and measures towards dynamic social security in the region’s pluralistic contexts and will be an important milestone towards the World Social Security Forum taking place in South Africa in November 2010.
