SAFE Summer Academy 2017: Developing Capital Markets in Europe - Research Center „Sustainable Architecture for Finance in Europe“
The SAFE Summer Academy provides a research-based training for European policy makers dealing with financial markets regulation. Its objective is to foster an open debate and to contribute to the participants’ capacity to evaluate arguments and appraise policy initiatives. This year’s SAFE Summer Academy will examine aspects that impact capital markets’ development in Europe. The agenda includes the following topics: - product and portfolio design, in particular with regard to pension planning, - securities markets architecture, - market supervision and the question: Do we need a European SEC?
