Seminar on “Marx Inhabitant of Three Centuries”
This seminar seeks to dialogue with the contributions of Marx to reflect on our current affairs. The thematic areas in which abstracts can be submitted to present a paper are the following: - Transformations of capitalism, are Marx’s theses outdated? - Marx historian: is class struggle still the engine of history? - Latin America in perspective of Marx: ancestral peoples, receptions and new debates. - Marx as a political and social activist: between thought and action - Misery of philosophy and philosophy of transformation - Marx versus Marxism: orthodoxy or heterodoxy? - Marx and Feminism: a possible dialogue? - Marx and Economic Geography: Theory of the world system and other debates.
