Southern Engines of Global Growth: China, India, Brazil, and South Africa (CIBS)
The UNU-WIDER project - Southern Engines of Global Growth: China, India, Brazil, and South Africa (CIBS) - centers on the inter-linkages between CIBS and the global economy. The main themes of the project include growth, trade, international finance, international governance and geopolitics. It will examine the contributions of CIBS to the global economy, the mechanisms and sources of growth in CIBS, the implications of CIBS’s growth on other economies, and issues related to international politics and governance. Comparative studies are particularly welcome. The Beijing meeting will focus on growth experiences of China and India.
