The 11th Euromoney Central & Eastern European Forum: Pushing the Boundaries: Ensuring Competitiveness in the CEE
Central and Eastern Europe has made great strides over the last few years. Growth in GDP averages 5% across the region; seven years of growth are about to return output to levels last seen in 1989. But where do they look next? Have flat tax regimes helped? A key common motif has been the creation of a competitive climate for doing business. EU entry, actual or prospective, has encouraged inward investment into the region. But important challenges remain if key countries are to maintain – or, better, enhance - their competitive advantage. Bringing together policymakers, business leaders, expert analysts and financiers, this conference will identify the challenges and outline the solutions to ensuring competitiveness in a world where China is just two weeks container journey away. Join us on 17 and 18 January when over 950 attendees, including prominent ministers and corporate leaders, will gather at this 11th annual Euromoney conference in Vienna to discuss the year ahead for Central and Eastern Europe.
