The Essen Summer School in Health Economics 2015 - CINCH Academy
CINCH Academy is a PhD summer program for research in Health Economics. It consists of lecture sessions and presentations, where participants present their own work. The first half of the course provides an overview on health investments and social mobility, while the second part is dedicated to methods for visualizing and analyzing data. Lectures will be given by Andrew Jones (University of York) and Kjell Salvanes (Norwegian School of Economics). CINCH brings together three notable health economics research institutions in the region։ the RWI (rheinisch-westfälisches Institut für Wirtschafsforschung) in Essen with its health economics division, Faculty for Economic and Business Administration of Duisburg-Essen University with two health economics-oriented chairs, and the Institute for Competition Economics (DICE) at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.
