World Economic Forum on East Asia
East Asia's lead in the global economic recovery has been underscored by increasing regional economic integration, robust domestic consumption and coordinated government stimulus measures. Next to the remarkable economic momentum and progress of China and India, ASEAN 's market of 580 million consumers is moving towards economic integration by 2015. As the Chair of ASEAN in 2010, Vietnam is the ideal location to discuss how leaders across East Asia will ensure the region's ongoing competitiveness and enlarge its voice in global cooperation.
How will East Asia's high-growth economies improve their competitiveness through developing innovation driven, green economies?
As East Asia's economic influence continues to rise, how will it develop its regional cooperative framework to better address key global challenges?
