A New Decision-Making Theory and the Potential Imperfection of Market Equilibrium

This study puts forward a new behavioural decision-making model from a new concept and perspective, and validates the model through questionnaire data. The results of multinomial logistic regression show that the model parameters are statistically significant (P<0.01), and prediction accuracy>71%; The results of multiple linear regression showed that older people and people with economic stress had more negative emotions about "unqualified" actions, which helps explain the unprecedented strike activity in France. At the same time, the positive emotion resulted by better than expected is higher than the negative emotion generated by the same degree worse than expected. In addition, by combining the research results with supply and demand theory, this study proposes and defines the three-dimensional Maxine Equilibrium and quasi- Maxine Equilibrium, while reveals the invisible hand may not bring perfect equilibrium, and the market may have potential "dissatisfaction" or "negative emotions"
