Consumo, Consumidor, Derecho Del Consumo… Nuevos Retos ¿nuevas Respuestas? (Consumption, Consumer, Consumer Law... New Challenges, New Answers?)

Spanish AbstractEl derecho del consumo constituye uno de los ámbitos más apasionantes de la ciencia jurídica. La toma de conciencia del legislador sobre la existencia de un colectivo que debe ser protegido se ha plasmado en amplios desarrollos legislativos en muchos lugares del planeta. La realidad actual del consumo, y los nuevos retos que genera y con los que se ve confrontados, exigen repensar este ámbito del Derecho y las respuestas que ofrece a una problemática cada vez más compleja, que puede poner en entredicho gran parte de los avances –y de los derechos atribuidos al consumidor- de los últimos años en este sector temático. Mucha son las nuevas preguntas planteadas. Habrá que ver si los distintos legisladores nacionales son capaces, también, de aportar nuevas respuestas.English AbstractConsumer law is one of the most exciting areas of the Law. The legislator's awareness of the existence of a group that must be protected has been reflected in extensive legislative developments in many parts of the planet. The current reality of consumption, and the new challenges that it generates and with which it is confronted, require both rethinking this field of Law and the answers that it offers to an increasingly complex problem and which can call into question a large part of the advances - and the rights granted to the consumer - in recent years in this thematic sector. Many are the new questions raised and it will be necessary to see if the different national legislators are also capable of providing new and accurate answers to this new scenario
