Greater Mediterranean in Search of a Balance of Power in a New Political Reality

The rapid development of the Ukrainian crisis and the events that preceded it were a vivid example of the destruction of the old world order, a phenomenon called by Russian researchers of the Valdai Club “the crumbling world”. Naturally, this has also affected the regional balance of power, in particular in the Greater Mediterranean, the macro-region between Africa, Europe and the Middle East, which is already far from political stability and has repeatedly challenged international security.This is a macro-region, a regional security complex, which is already far from stable.
