Immigration and US Labor Market Outcomes

This paper examines the factors that influence the impact of immigration on native labor market outcomes, laying out how the empirical methodology has evolved over the last 30 years. I discuss the strengths and weaknesses of these papers. My general conclusion is that immigration benefits most Americans. Immigration has a positive impact on wages for skilled native labor.
