Institutional Real Estate Funds : Retail Beats Office and German Focus Beats European Focus

German open-ended real estate funds have net asset values that sum up to €120 bln invested in Germany and abroad. To increase transparency in this dominant investment sector within Germany, IPD has extended the available performance fund indices and now publishes a fund indicator covering the investment vehicles for institutional investors. Thus it is now possible to track the performance of German institutional real estate funds on a quarterly basis and to compare the benefits of the regional and sectoral allocation
