The workshop is intended to bring together academics and practitioners to discuss recent developments in macroeconomics. We encourage contributions in all areas of macroeconomics, particularly those relevant to an open economy such as Australia.

The Australasian Macroeconomics Workshop (AMW) and the Workshop on Macroeconomic Dynamics (WMD) have joined forces to become the Workshop of the Australasian Macroeconomics Society (WAMS). The inaugural workshop welcomes submissions in all areas of macroeconomics.

We encourage submissions in the fields (broadly defined) of macroeconomics, finance, econometrics, agent based modeling and computational methods.

Manuscripts are invited on any topic relevant to the conference, including agricultural economics, natural resource economics, environmental economics, ecological economics, natural resource management, multi-disciplinary studies and policy issues relevant to any of the above.
