The Australasian Trade Workshop is an annual conference of trade economists in Australasia that is hosted by a different university in the region each year. We invite colleagues in this field (JEL‐Classification F0 to F2) to submit papers for presentation at the workshop.

We welcome paper submissions on environmental and resource economics, with theoretical, experimental, and empirical papers equally valued.

On Thursday 8 December, the programme includes a special session on ‘Inequality and development’ featuring recent research from UNU-WIDER's WIID and SOUTHMOD - simulating tax and benefit policies for development Phase 2 projects.
