The objective of this conference is to advance the debate on the measurement of well-being, both at the macro and micro levels, through an examination of past experiences and the identification of future challenges.

The plenary sessions will address the challenges and opportunities that accompany regional integration in Sub-Saharan Africa while the parallel sessions will cover a range of themes in development economics that include but are not restricted to regional integration.
