The Econometric Society is an international society for the advancement of economic theory in its relation to statistics and mathematics.

Theme: Research on All Areas of Economics.

The program committee invites contributions in the form of individual papers and entire sessions (three to five paper sessions). Papers can be on any applied or theoretical topic within economics.

This will be the eighth such conference held by Advances in Econometrics on the topics of the volume.

The conference will feature mostly contributed papers with formal discussion and software demonstrations on topics related to a variety of statistical research issues. Papers and demonstrations should address methodology, empirical studies, relevant issues, or needs for statistical research.

The purpose is to bring together researchers from different disciplines that study Liquidity, Credit Risk and Extreme Events. This includes econometrics, finance, mathematics and statistics.
