Africa Finance and Economic Association (AFEA) will sponsor two sessions and another session together with National Economic Association (NEA) at the January 2018 ASSA Meetings in Philadelphia devoted to all aspects of economic development or economic growth concerns of African economies.

Both theoretical and empirical papers on economic growth and development, trade and finance, economic policy and political economy will be considered. Preferences will be given to papers written in the context of the Indian economy.
