The aim of the Winter Schools is to provide advanced training to European doctoral and post-doctoral students in specialised topics relating to the field of environmental and resource economics. The topic covered by the 2019 Winter School is "the economics of energy transition".

Economists and professionals working in related fields are invited to submit theoretical and applied papers in all areas of economics for presentation at the Congress.
