The organizers are especially interested in contributions discussing challenges brought forward by emerging issues in macro and finance after the financial crisis and their implications for policymakers and macro modelers.

We propose that the EGOS 2006 general theme be devoted to studying how different forms of organizing interact in shaping contemporary society and how society shapes organizing in turn. The research implications are far reaching, involving all traditions of the social sciences and the humanities.
