The Society for Economic Measurement (SEM) was founded in 2013 by William A. Barnett and Stephen Spear to promote research on economic measurement, using advanced tools from economic theory, econometrics, aggregation theory, experimental economics, mathematics, and statistics.

With the endorsement of INSNA, the conference will host poster and paper sessions representing many fields of social network analysis. Furthermore, a variety of workshops will be offered in theory, data collection, methods of analysis and visualization in social network analysis.
