The main focus will be on empirical/econometric studies in finance. Topics include (but are not limited to): Asset Pricing; Behavioral Finance; Derivative Markets, Financial Econometrics; Financial Markets; International Finance; Market Microstructure; Risk Management; Volatility Models.

As always, papers on any topics in economics are welcome. Submissions from new and emerging researchers, government and private sector economists are especially encouraged.

Conference theme: "Leading from the edge: Creativity, innovation & entrepreneurship". Following the tradition of earlier ICSB conferences a wide range of tracks is offered. The 18 main tracks cover a comprehensive number of options – enough to allow for the interests of all attendees and speakers.

We invite submissions from those wishing to present a paper at NZESG 2012, which can be in any field of econometrics, theoretical or applied, including empirical analyses of issues in economics and finance.

The conference welcomes academics (business/economics professors and administrators), as well as corporation / government executives and economists.
