The APIRA conference provides an international forum and showcase for research on the social, political, and institutional aspects of accounting theory and practice.

Papers for the 2016 AFAANZ Conference were invited in the broad areas of accounting, finance, auditing, corporate governance, accounting information systems, accounting education, ethics, corporate social responsibility, tax and related topics.

This symposium provides a platform for accounting, economics and corporate governance academics especially from Australia, New Zealand and Asia to present cutting-edge research findings. Papers accepted will be considered for publication in the JCAE subject to editorial approval.
