The AHEC invites researchers who are interested in the economic history of the Caribbean, to participate with an unpublished paper in one of the following sections, trying to establish its relationship with the central theme of the call in a global context.

The conference will revolve around the central theme of the role of science, technology and innovation in long-term historical economic development. This theme has been chosen because it reflects very closely the economic transformation undergone by the Basque Country in the last thirty years.
