The NBER Macroeconomics Annual seeks to bring together the latest research on important and policy-relevant topics in macroeconomics. The span of research includes applied theory as well as empirical work, open-economy macroeconomics, and work on financial markets that bears on macroeconomics.

All papers presented at the conference will be selected through this open submissions process. Please note that there will be time for only a very small number of presentations. The conference lasts about a day and a half, there are no parallel sessions, and ample time is allowed for discussion...
